Here is the other half of our family room. I love the fireplace, we can do so much with it!! Plus it's our first fire place and it will come in handy on the cold winter days in Ohio.

Yes you are seeing what we saw when we finally arrived to Ohio!!! Such an exciting event on our drive. I am glad I got this shot because it looks like a giant blue rainbow.
Our rental truck made it all the way from Utah to Ohio without any problems. The only problem it gave us was the price of gas we had to fill it with. But we had to get out here and so you just have to suck it up and forget what it cost.

This is downtown Columbus which is a neat city. We have explored a little and want to do some more. It's a big city but in pretty good condition. It's nice to be around a clean city.
I love this picture of us in front of Todd's Optometry school building. We walked around campus to get a feel for how huge it is. Luckily Todd only has to worry about one building the whole 4 years. That would be nice. Campus is really neat because not only do that have tons of buildings for school but they have a huge hospital that is well known for the medical staff. We will have to check that out sometime too.
This is the road I grew up on and wanted to take a picture to remember because I am finally moving away for a change!! I will miss this area but will be back to visit.
Todd was such a stud driving our rental diesel truck. It was a bumpy ride but luckily we were able to change cars every couple hours.
Scout gets the best "TROOPER" award for being so good on the long drive. He slept the entire time pretty much which was good because we would hate him to remember how long he was in the carrier.

This road trip has been very long already and we aren't even half way there yet. It has taken us longer than we expected with the huge diesel truck we rented. We have been driving through Nebraska most of the day and I swear this state never ends. We will never get out!!! HELP!! Scout our cat has been a very good sport through all this. He mostly has been sleeping which is good because the time passes easier when you sleep. We were on the road for over 12 hours today and tomorrow is going to be just as long if not longer. Wish us luck and I will get some pictures posted of our long drive out to Ohio once we get all settled and get our internet hooked up. Until then, love you all. It was hard leaving our family and friends in Utah, hopefully it will get easier but I doubt it in ways.
