What Shall We Do??

I am sitting here at the computer surfing the web and looking at townhomes in Memphis, TN and also in Columbus, OH. I can't belive how cheap the cost of living is back east. Todd and I can't wait to acutally own a place of our own soon. We just need to decide where we are going first. We have prayed a lot about the decision and just can't seem to make up our minds. Both schools are great and everything else about them is awesome. We just need to make up our minds because we know that either of the choices will be a good decision. I guess we were just hoping for some kind of sign that would really stand out to us so we could just say "Okay, that is the school we should go to." But we just sit in limbo for now but we can't for very long. We really need to decide here in the next month so we can start getting stuff ready before we move at the end of the summer. We have been so anxious for the day to come for us to move out of state. Not that we are wishing our time here away but when you see something a head that looks so fun and adventurous you anticipate it. I am already super sad to leave both our families and wonderful friends but it's only 4 years and it will go fast I am sure. We can't believe how fast our first 4 years of marriage has gone. We are coming up on our 4th year annivesary this April. It's crazy to think that when Todd is finally finished with school we will both be the BIG 32 years old!! Now that is frightening to think about so I am not going to talk about that. We look too young to be 28 right now. I have a lot of patients that can't believe my age when I tell them. They always say I look like I am 22. So that young youthful look will be nice when I am in the 40's. Okay, enough rambling on for me. I just had to write what has been on our minds lately. We just sit and wonder which school to go to.......so hopefully soon we will have our answer.

20/20 -- No Longer!

Yep, I never thought this day would come where I had to get my first pair of glasses. I have noticed over the last few years while I am driving that the signs weren't very clear. I also noticed a difference when I was in Sunday school class and the information on the board wasn't looking clear either. So I finally decided to take care of it and get a perscription. I love that I can see now. I only need to wear them for seeing far away. My sister Kelsey also has the same issue with her vision so we both are a part of the glasses club now.

A Boo Boo

Todd had to get ankle surgery because of an old injury he had 4 years ago just before we got married. He tore ligaments, and fractured some bones playing volleyball with his buddies. He has been alright with it if he wears a brace while playing sports but over the years it just got worse. So he finally let the dr scope his ankle and he found a bone spur that had formed there and also several bone fragments that needed to be removed. So he is just in the recovery process and has to be on crutches for 4 weeks then he will have a walking boot for a little longer. He has to be careful for like 3 months and not play active sports so it can heal. We are just both happy that he will heal better this way. He has been a trooper during the healing process. He is loving all the pampering I am giving him, don't let him fool anyone. After a week with the splint on we were able to take it off and begin to move his ankle around very gently. There are only two little holes that are stitched up from the scope.
He didnt' want me to take this picture of him if you can tell. I told him that he needs to remember these memories, plus it needs to go in his scrapbook.

Old Roommates

This is my cute old roommate and very good friend Heather. We stayed with her and her husband Ben in San Francisico and had so much fun. I love this girl!! Manicures? Pedicure? Massage chairs? Yep this is us just relaxing it up on a rainy day in San Fran. This is my very first manicure/pedicure experience. It was so dang fun.
Heather and her adorable little girl Kenadee. She is the cutest little girl ever with such a fun personality.

San Francisco

Todd and I went to San Francisco the day after we got back from our Hawaii trip. Todd had an interview at Berkeley so we got the chance to stay with my old roommate and her husband in the San Francisco area. They were so kind to drive us around and give us a tour of the city in the two days that we were there. Todd has never been there so it was really fun for him. I haven't been since I was like 13 so a lot had changed for me. Todd had never eaten at and In-N-Out burger before so we got the chance to while we were there. Here we are with Alcatrez behind us. We would have done a tour but it was a little too cold for us and we only had so little time to see all that we could. We want to go back again when we have more time to do some more site seeing.
Here is my cute friend Heather, her husband Ben, and their cutest little girl Kenadee. We had so much fun hanging out with them again. Here we are eating at a yummy Thai resturant called "Ocea."(not sure if I spelt that right) It was a "first" of tasting Thai food for Todd and I, and we really liked it alot.
There was a lot of shopping around San Fran area and we saw this shop that had my knickname on it so I had to get a picture.
We ate at Barney's the last night before we left. It was a gourmet burger place which was very tasty yet again. It is very rainy in San Fran this time of the year so thanks to our friends they had extra umbrella's and warmer jackets so we didn't get wet and too cold. Thanks Heather and Ben!!

Snorkeling Around

Talk about gorgeous!!! I love this picture of Todd with the Hawaiian mountains behind him.
Todd is a fish himself, he loves the water so snorkeling was really fun for him. He got to swim down close to the fish and scare them. He even saw a sea turtle. I wasn't around where he was snorkeling so I missed the turtle. Bummer. Snorkeling was a lot of fun together. The water was the perfect temp. and we even got to see some mamma whales and baby whales jumping out of the water. We wernen't able to catch any pictures with our under water camera.
This is a whale shark. He is huge if you can tell with that random guy's head in the picture. Our boat guides told us that this was very "un" common to see. They are harmless and just eat the algie in the water. He hung around the boat for like 15 minutes. No one was in the water at the time snorkeling. We were just on our way back to Maui island when our captain spotted this huge whale shark.

Our Hawaii Vacation

This is a classic picture of two people living it up in Hawaii. When can we go back??? Studly Todd sporting his dad's old school glasses. The wind was blowing pretty hard this day while we were site seeing, so a light jacket was nice but the weather was still way nice.
Just a fun shot of some amazing rain forest areas.

Todd got his first Henna tattoo while we were there. He has always wanted one and it turned out pretty cool.

Another Day at the Beach

Here we are watching some amazing surfers Sunday afternoon after church. We drove around and saw some amazing beaches and beautiful look outs. This is all my sister in laws and mother in law. I love these girls, we are so close to each other.
Here is Todd standing next to his rental surf board. He took some lessons with his older brother and had a good time surfing for his first time. I also got the chance to surf and got up on my first try. I was able to ride four different waves, I had a lot of fun.
Here we are on a look out that was so windy we had to hold on to each other so we wouldn't fall off the cliff. We were looking at some neat blow holes that come up through the beach line.
For those of you who are major "Lost" fans this here is a famous peak that they film at. In fact, they film most of "Lost" in Maui. It is a cool peak.

Words Can't Describe The Beauty

I have so many awesome pictures of Maui, I had to pick my favorites to share with you.

More pictures....

Here we are on our flight over to Maui. It was a 6 and a half hour flight straight through. It was long, but very worth it. They played two different movies during the flight to make the time pass quicker. This nasty looking cockrotch wanted to join me in my first shower in our condo. I didn't see him coming up through the drain until I looked down and there he was. I SCREAMED SO LOUD!!!! I quickly got out and made Todd come and kill him. We both were so grossed out by him, and he made the loudest crunch when we killed him. YUCK!! (he was much larger than he looks in this picture.)
I love this picture of us at the Luau(sp?) It was such a neat atmosphere with the sun setting in the back ground and the entertainment was amazing. The food was interesting because we tried food from different cultures around the world. It was a fun experience for us.
This is the whole gang that went to Hawaii. Todd's parents and all Todd's siblings along with their spouses. We all knew how to party harty and live it up. I have the greatest in-laws ever!!
