Oh a hunting I will go......
At this point I have been "hunting" for a job here in Ohio. I have had two different job interviews already this week and another one next Tuesday. So far they all look like great jobs I could see myself working at. It's hard not to compare them all to my previous job. I can't beat that at all, I made some of the closest friends who I miss and love so much. How many people can say they spend all day with their friends at work and then spend weekend's scrap booking together. Man what a life I had. I know I will make friends at my new job and will have fun also. Change can be hard but it will be good for me. I feel like we have adapted to the big move across country and being away from our families pretty well. Of course we miss our family and friends but we both have been looking forward to this big step in our lives. We are so lucky to have this experience and I know we will look back on it often and share great stories. Our ward is amazing already which helps so much because they will be our "family"out here. The nice part about all this is it just feels right and it's were we are suppose to be. I am blessed to be here with my best friend Todd. We have really enjoyed the time we are getting together before we both start back to reality. Sometimes life gets too hectic and we forget to "stop and smell the roses" as they say. So we are smelling all the roses along the way and enjoying every bit of it. We love and miss you all. Thanks for your support, love, and example. Hope all is well.

More pictures....
Here is the sink of our half bathroom on the main floor.
Our full bathroom upstairs.
Todd's office, which is the second bedroom upstairs. Scout had to be in the picture too. We will get some more pictures of the basement and of our bedroom when they get a little more organized. I plan on painting some walls too, but you can get an idea of what our place looks like so far.

The inside of our place
Here is half of the family room.
Here is the other half of our family room. I love the fireplace, we can do so much with it!! Plus it's our first fire place and it will come in handy on the cold winter days in Ohio.
Here is our kitchen looking through the bar. It's a smaller kitchen but works perfect for us.
This is when you walk through the front door of our place. So I guess it's the small foyer.

We Finally Made It
Yes you are seeing what we saw when we finally arrived to Ohio!!! Such an exciting event on our drive. I am glad I got this shot because it looks like a giant blue rainbow.
Our rental truck made it all the way from Utah to Ohio without any problems. The only problem it gave us was the price of gas we had to fill it with. But we had to get out here and so you just have to suck it up and forget what it cost.
The happy new home owners on our front porch. I will get some more pictures on here soon of the inside and outside. We love it!!! It's perfect for us!!
This is downtown Columbus which is a neat city. We have explored a little and want to do some more. It's a big city but in pretty good condition. It's nice to be around a clean city.
I love this picture of us in front of Todd's Optometry school building. We walked around campus to get a feel for how huge it is. Luckily Todd only has to worry about one building the whole 4 years. That would be nice. Campus is really neat because not only do that have tons of buildings for school but they have a huge hospital that is well known for the medical staff. We will have to check that out sometime too.

The Dreaded Drive
This is the road I grew up on and wanted to take a picture to remember because I am finally moving away for a change!! I will miss this area but will be back to visit.
Todd was such a stud driving our rental diesel truck. It was a bumpy ride but luckily we were able to change cars every couple hours.
Scout gets the best "TROOPER" award for being so good on the long drive. He slept the entire time pretty much which was good because we would hate him to remember how long he was in the carrier.
When you get bored out of your mind driving you start taking self portrait pictures. Here I am modeling Todd's glasses.
Sleepy Todd getting some ZZZZZ's so he can switch driving time.

We are Official Home Owners!!!
We can't believe it!!! We finally closed on our town home today. It was a lot of signing and a lot of info to take in but we got it all done. Now they over night the documents to the Ohio Title company and the sellers sign tomorrow and it's OURS!!! We will have our very first place to own ever!! Nothing like taking out a loan for a home and then taking out some more for Todd's tuition. We have a lot to learn over the next 4 years. But what a fun adventure. We just wanted to share this HUGE news with all our family and friends. Now on the the next business......getting packed and getting moved out there. (oh yea that reminds me, I should be packing right now and not blogging....oops!)

I think I am going CRAZY!!!
Just when you think the stress can't get any worse it DOES!!! Todd and I have been so stressed about moving and closing on our first town home. So much heart ache and anger has come from all this. I just hope we never have to go through this much the next time we buy a home. I have heard it gets much easier which is a relief. We will be closing tomorrow and then moving out to Ohio on the 16th. We have many adventures a head of us! We can't believe that it has come so fast for us. I mostly just needed to vent because it's been a crazy last two weeks for us.
